Blue Avenue features the masterful guitar work of CNY music legend Mark Doyle & the powerhouse vocals of  Joanna Nix, a long time fixture of the CNY music scene. They’ve combined their talents with some of the best area musicians and are already one of the most talked about Blues/Rock bands in Central New York after their extraordinary NYS Blues Festival debut performance. 

Guitarist Mark Doyle has been a part of some of the greatest area bands of the last 50 plus years including Jukin’ Bone, Backbone Slip, The Doyle-Whiting Band and currently fronts his Mark Doyle & The Maniacs band as well as being the guitarist and band leader for the National recording artist, Mary Fahl (The October Project).
