Tas Cru

With six albums in the last eight years , Cru  released his digital-only single, Déjà Blu  just this February. Having built his reputation as a songwriter with lyrics that Downbeat magazine has called blues poetry, it may seem odd to fans of his music that Tas Cru’s first-ever  single release is an instrumental.  Déjà Blu proves that Cru is equally adept at composing rich melodies and crafting lush arrangements. 

Déjà Blu is a counterpoint to his Fall 2024 high energy Tas Cru Band LIVE .  This album showcases his 2024 tour band performing his fan’s top-ten requested songs. To no surprise, these fan-fed songs are all rough and tumble.  Gone are the frills of a studio album.  The band just gives each song a best go, kicking down the fences - cage-free – loose, loud and proud!
