The Haengout

The Haengout is the newest collaboration of several of the areas most talented and longstanding musicians.  Musical circles recently overlapped, as they so often do, and long-time collaborators Brian Ayers (vocals) and Mike Nelson (bass) fell into the company of powerhouse duo Owen Eichensehr (drums) and grammy-nominated Pat Harrington (guitar).  

A vision for a new group quickly formed, and Greg Gilmore (keys/organ) was recruited to round out the band’s sound –an up-tempo and funky take on American Roots music. The Haengout – Harrington, Ayers, Eichensehr, Nelson, Gilmore – is focused on bringing to life as much original music as possible – with all the members being veteran songwriters in their own rights.

In addition to the wealth of talent from an instrumentation standpoint – the group boasts a deep bench vocally as well with Ayers, Eichensehr and Harrington all having years of experience singing leads and harmonies. This allows…
